Tour Guide at Bishop's University
Class of 2022
Hometown: McCordsville, IN, IN
Major: Liberal Arts
Secondary Major: International Studies
I love to walk around Sherbrooke because it's such a beautiful city with such a rich culture. It has so many amazing murals and churches as well as so many cute shops and markets that are fun to go to. The international film festival is also a fun event.
I love the stir fry. One of my favorite things to do is to mix stations by ordering an egg from the grill, getting broccoli from the salad station, and then mixing it altogether at the stirfry station to make some chicken fried rice.
My favorite class so far at Bishop's has been French Arts and Culture for French as a second language. It is such a unique and fun class. It really forces you to be immersed in the Québécois culture by making you require cultural events. It has been one of the most unique classes I've taken, and I have really enjoyed being a part of it.
I chose Bishop's because I wanted a small school where I would build a good community of people around me and be able to truly know my professors. I also liked that at Bishop's you experience a dual cultural experience as you can speak both French and English.
